Maple View Farm is a family dairy farm located in
Orange County, North Carolina,
just northwest of Chapel Hill.
It is a Holstein dairy farm. A grade "A" milk producer since 1922,
Maple View Farm moved to the present location after selling a five generation dairy farm in Corinna, Maine.
In 1995, the first conservation easement on the farm property was granted to the Triangle Land Conservancy to insure continuation of the farming and dairy operations. Mike Strowd, farm manager, oversees the land, crops and cows. His goal is for each cow to produce the highest quality milk. This is accomplished without the use of any synthetic hormone. Plant Manager, Roger Nutter, is committed to bottling the highest quality and freshest milk products* available to the local consumer. Maple View Farm milk is nutritious and refreshingly delicious. Milk is nature's most perfect food. On New Year's Day 2001, we opened our much anticipated Ice Cream Store located within sight of the farm at the intersection of Dairyland and Rocky Ridge roads. All of Maple View Farm's quality milk products are available seven days a week. |
Maple View Agricultural CenterWith winter hours, we are closed to drop-by visitors, open by appointment only, minimum of 10 to a group. We are still doing birthday parties! Hours of Operation Noon - 6 P.M. Monday through Friday Fresh Local Produce, Barnyard, Hayrides, Garden, Picnic & Playground The learning center is only open for prebooked groups.
